his best essay, “other sounds, other loves (another sound, another love)
my truncated review of GET BONUS THE MOVIE
tim rogers explains how his memory works (3 min, 21 sec video)
my regret within ("emotional moments" song from kotaku videos)

actionbutton shop(i'm personally a fan of the "bedtime island" designs ☺)
this is a music video by large prime numbers
drew cosner on guitar
this guy named kevin hipkondo on drums
and me tim rogers as the hiphop mc hiphop arimashou
this song is called 1234 hiphop
and it will begin when i say 1234 HIPHOP
alright alright
igerashou? hiphop arimashou?
japanese hiphop ananda
anandaiwa
yeah yeah arimashou
hiphop
people ask themselves all the time every day what hiphop is
and sometimes i tell them there are elements of hiphop the kids tlak about
one of them is rhyming, stealing, kicking people, what else is there
rhyming and stealing. there’s beat there’s rhythm, there’s rapping
there’s going crazy
there’s carrying a gun
there’s wearing the bling
there’s pimping the hoes
there’s (?) bars?
and there’s being all out super fly
and let me tell you the japanese kids that just go to hiphop these days
they don’t know what they’re doing
they stand on the street corner in groups of one, two, three
sometimes four
listsening to hiphop music on a little boombox
they don’t know what they’re doing
they don’t - i mean- they don’t know what kind of music they’re listening to
they’re listening to hiphop music but they don’t know what it is
they could be listening to rock n roll
theyre not wearing the right clothes
theyre not pimping the right hoes
theyre just listening to hiphop because they think it’s cool and it’s new
let me tell you
the kids in japan sometimes they might even start a hiphop group
knowing japanese (?) they know how to rhyme
but they don’t know how to feel, they don’t know how to dance, they don’t know how to shape the breeze> and most importantly
they don’t know how to represent
represent!
the kids represent
the most important part of hiphop
you need to represent
you need to represent something
the kids in japan don’t represent nothing
they don’t represent mcdonalds
they don’t represent their school
they don’t represent their office
they don’t represent their parents
they don’t represent nothing
they don’t even know what their representing even means
there are exercises that you can do to make yourself to wanna listen, knowing hiphop, loving hiphop (?) to hiphop
(?)
you can do a lot of things in the morning
do some aerobics
when you wake up, do some breathing exercises
(?)
clean, pure hiphop soul
and then (?) represent
you represent, when you wake up every morning you have to know what you are, you have to know where you come from
you represent what you like
you represent your favorite color, like orange, or black, or red
you represent everything you can
and the most important thing of all, the most important thing for a man to represent
i don’t represent no country
i don’t represent no street
i don’t represent no hood
i represent my own desire to represent
there’s an exercise you can do
and the exercise goes like this
when i say represent, you say word
when i say represent, you say word
represent
represent
when i say represent, you say word
represent
(aghhhh)
represent
(aghhhh)
represent
(AGHHHH)
represent, you say word
i say represent you say word
i say represent you say word
represent
represent (repeated)
yeah
the words aren’t words
i say represent, you say word
*screaming*
i hate you america
i hate you america
i hate you america
*screaming*
1-2-3-4
you didn’t stop on time, (?) there
konoyarou, stoppou shimmatta
(?) arimashou
*japanese that i don’t speak*
