i watched the first 90 minutes of this 9 months ago on a plane and was going to watch the last 30 minutes on the way back but the flight back didn't have in-flight entertainment.

contains scenes evocative of when they say "you're fired" on the apprentice
beautiful composition. a lot of very striking scenes. twisty turny plot that kept me engaged and wanting to find out what happened for 9 months after i watched the first 3/4 of the movie.
call me a trxnny if you want but that ending was fucking stupid. if they just ended it good this could've been like a 4 or maybe even if i'm feeling crazy a 4.5 for me. i really love being catholic and they did pretty well most of the time then just kind of threw it away. like seriously what was that shit. i said "what" out loud at my screen when the credits came up, and not in a good way.
whatever. i enjoyed almost all of it thoroughly. i'll watch it if it's on. i like how much of the dialogue is in italian or spanish instead of english. i like how identifiable the characters are even though they're all wearing red all the time. whatever. it's fucking conclave i guess. wasted potential.
